Induction Melting & Casting

Tilt Pour CastingRDO’s bench top melters include the EasyMelt Systems.  They are perfect for low volume, high speed melting, and the compact design allows each model to fit easily on a bench-top.  The EasyMelt can melt 2 kg of gold in 10-15 minutes and melt 250 g of platinum in under 3 minutes.

For larger volume high speed melting, RDO offers their benchmark LC Series of Induction Melting systems for melting Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass and Aluminum.  The LC Lift and Pour series can be configured in 5, 8, 10 and 12 kW of power for melt capacities of 4, 6, 10 and 12 kg of Gold.

Additional Induction Casting & Induction Melting Equipment

For larger capacities of the same metals, RDO’s LC Tilt Pour induction melting systems a 15, 25, 50 and 125kW system for gold melting capacities of 15 kg, 40 kg, 100 kg and 150 kg.  These systems are available in various configurations using electronic and hydraulic tilting systems.

The S Series Induction Melter is a Lift and Pour induction melter that is ideal for melting gold, silver and copper and can be configured to melt steel and other high temperature alloys.  It has the capacity for 4-12kg Gold or 1-5kg of Steel.

Tilt Pour CastingSaturn/Shuttle Electric Melters are designed for small shop melting.  They are used for Melting Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass and Aluminum.  They have a long life and provide accurate temperature measurement.  Typical melt times for a full load of material is about 45 minutes for the first melt and 20-30 minutes for subsequent melts.

RDO also offers a variety of induction casting equipment for use in the dental and jewelry trades, as well as industrial casting.  The EasyCast Series are affordable centrifugal casting machines for the dental and jewelry trade.  They are for casting all dental & jewelry alloys except for titanium.

The SuperCast Series is a revolutionary system that uses a patented Rotating Coil System that can cast is ideal for use casting all dental alloys, gold, silver, platinum, steel and titanium.  The CS Series was designed for high volume Jewelry and Industrial Casting, primarily for the casting of Platinum, but can also handle Stainless Steel, Gold and Silver.
