Induction soldering and brazing is the introduction of electromagnetic fields into metallic bodies in order to heat joints between components and melting an alloy with a lower melting temperature than the component parts. Induction soldering and brazing equipment forms higher-quality, air and water tight joints with less oxidation and cleaning than joints made with flame heating technology. RDO offers induction soldering and brazing equipment that is ideal for a wide range of applications.

Model 1TM is a bench top model with 3.0 kW of power working in High Frequency (450-700 KHz), is ideal for manual and semi-automated soldering and brazing of small parts. This system is produced with MOSFET technology and equipped with a digital LCD display which gives the user the ability to control the power adjustment (10-100%), manual or adjustable timer control, cycle/production counter, alarm displays, and total production time.

Model 1-2TS MINIMAX is available in 1.5 and 3.0 kW power supplies (450-700 KHz) and is ideal for bench-top or automated atmospheres. The systems are equipped with a compact heating head (transformer) connected by an RF Cable to an RF Generator. The heating head is easily mounted to pneumatic cylinders, slides or even robots. It can be equipped with up to two alternating solder heads.

The Platinum HF is our newest model - available in 3, 6, and 10kW. These systems are ideal for components requiring precision heat zones, soldering and brazing of small parts. It comes standard with a compact heating head and can be configured with up to two heating heads. The Platinum HF Series is equipped with a touch screen control, which allows the user to create and store up 100 different heating profiles or programs with up to 20 steps per program. The Platinum HF brings the future of advanced system controllability into the customers’ hands today.

Model HFI 3kW thru 25 kW with a 135-400 kHz frequency range, along with the DuraPower Series 5kW thru 25kW systems with a 20-400 kHz frequency range are used for the soldering and brazing of larger parts. With these systems the user can create multi step heat ramp cycles, which will allow the user to bring the temperature up quickly, then lower the power/heat to allow the solder/braze alloy to properly flow without overheating the parts being joined. All systems can also be controlled with infrared temperature controls for precise temperature control of the brazing/solder process.
